Harvesting Cost and Quantity Result Maps
The Result Maps may differ from individual analyses conducted using the "Guided Assessment". The following assumptions were used for the static Result Maps:
  • Maximum 11-hour round trip haul;
  • Median ZCTA-to-ZCTA travel distances and times where assumed for calculating transportation costs (Analyses run using the BioSAT's Guided Assessment will use the distinct ZCTA-to-ZCTA travel distance and time for that ZCTA pair, not the median);
  • Agricultural Residues assumed a flatbed trailer for calculating transportation costs. Logging and Mill Residues assumed a dry van trailer.
  • ZCTAs containing less than 25 dry tons (one truck payload) of biomass are considered to have no available biomass.
